Fine print: 

• Guess what time the drapes will come down.  The 3 closest times are awarded points regardless of whether the time is before or after the completion of case. 

•  Guesses should be made within is one hour after incision.  Surgeons are not allowed to know the times that other contestants have made. 

• Circulating nurse is in charge of event and have final word on how points are awarded.They will email results to 2006chen@stanford.edu within 1 week of surgery. 

• Any surgery over 8 hours is eligible.

• The competition is open to all but residents may not be able to receive subject to union rules.  (This comes from legal). 

• Donations welcome.  100% of proceeds will go to the winners.  Prize money may be distributed into other categories (2nd place, 3rd place, etc.)

• An Amazon gift card may be substituted for Bass Pro Shops gift card at winner's discretion.  (However it doesn't make sense why anyone would want to do that.)
